Have you tried to disable driver signature enforcement?
1- Right-click on the Windows 10 Start menu and select “Command Prompt (Admin)” from the menu. In the Command Prompt window, type shutdown.exe /r /o and hit “Enter”.
2- In Windows 10 Boot Options Menu select:
Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart > after reboot press 7Same procedure with pictures:

1. Go to “Device Manager” and install the driver.
2. Go to “Network & Internet settings” and check the Status of the Virtnet adapter.
(You will see the following MAC adress: 02-50-F2-0F-52-00)
3. Right click on “Start menu” -> Run regedit.
4. In regedit search(Ctrl+F) for: “NetvminiMacAddress”
You have to change the value of this REG_BINARY key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0010
5. Go again into “Network & Internet settings” and disable, then enable the Virtnet card.
6. After this you have to see your MAC adress in Status.
Good luck 🙂February 8, 2019 at 12:07 pm in reply to: VirtNet does not install on Windows 10 version 1809 x64 #10645Thank you for your reply!

Basicly the whole “Special” tab missing from the new virtual network adapter.February 4, 2019 at 12:01 pm in reply to: VirtNet does not install on Windows 10 version 1809 x64 #10628Hey guys again!

Here is a good topic to downgrade your Win10 to and earlier build.
I dont rly know exactly which update you have to remove to make Virtnet adapter installable again, but it defeneatly worth a try.
If you find out pls share it with us.
Thanks in advance! 🙂Still looking forward for the update in the driver.
Vadim Smirnov! All our hope is in you! 🙂
January 31, 2019 at 3:29 pm in reply to: VirtNet does not install on Windows 10 version 1809 x64 #10625Yes, there is a new NDIS version in this Win10 build:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/network/overview-of-ndis-versionsNDIS 6.81: Windows 10, version 1803
NDIS 6.82: Windows 10, version 1809Following their links i’ve found this:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/develop/building-a-driverIs it possible to convert the Virtnet driver to a Win10 compatible driver with those fancy Visual Studio debugging commands?
Sorry for the (probably) stupid question.
